PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR JOB APPLICANTS

1.Who is responsible for processing your data?

This is the privacy statement of Keune Haircosmetics B.V. (hereinafter referred to as "Keune"), which applies to the processing of your personal data when you, as an applicant, are interested in one of our job vacancies.

Keune is the data controller for the processing of your personal data as described in this privacy statement. We consider it important to handle your data with care.

2.When does this privacy statement apply?

This privacy statement applies to all personal data that Keune collects and processes from you when you visit our job vacancy website and apply for one of our job vacancies. In order to facilitate your application process smoothly, we require certain information from you. The type of data we request and how we use it is described in this privacy statement. You will also learn about your rights, who has access to your data, and how long we retain your data.



3.What data does Keune collect and process during your application?

When you apply with us, we collect personal data from you so that we can assess whether you can become our new colleague. Personal data are data that can be attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person ('data subject'). We process the following data from you:

• Name, address, email address, and other contact information.

• Curriculum Vitae (CV) and motivation, information about education, internships, work experience, and other data that you provide to us, such as hobbies and salary expectations.

• Photos and videos that you may include with your application.

• Results of tests and assessments that are shared with Keune after your approval.

• Data required to make a salary proposal if you are hired, which we will include in our HR systems, such as salary calculation, identification documents, IBAN number, and information about your partner/children for pension purposes.

• How far you have progressed in the application process and reasons for acceptance or rejection.



4.Why does Keune collect your data?

We collect and process your personal data based on the legal grounds of the General Data Protection Regulation. We do this for the following purposes:

• To handle your application and communicate with you personally regarding it (legal grounds: legitimate interest or consent).

• For recruitment and selection purposes and the management of our recruitment database (legal grounds: legitimate interest).

• If applicable, to check with the UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) whether you belong to the target group of the Employment Quota for Disabled Persons Act (legal grounds: legal obligation, legitimate interest).

• Potentially entering into an employment contract with you (legal grounds: performance of a contract with you).

• Aggregating and/or anonymizing personal data to generate other data for our use (legal grounds: legitimate interest).

• Conducting statistical analyses based on aggregated data and sharing them within Keune to improve our recruitment process and report on it (legal grounds: legitimate interest).

• If the nature of the position justifies it, conducting a social media investigation, screening, or assessment (legal grounds: legitimate interest).

• Meeting our legal responsibilities, settling disputes, and enforcing our agreements (legal grounds: legitimate interest or legal obligation).

• Contacting you if you have provided data to us in any other way (legal grounds: legitimate interest).

Our legitimate interests include, among others: marketing, advertising, security, (crime) prevention, IT management, research and analysis of our own products or services, business administration, legal matters, internal management. If you have given consent for the processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw it at any time by sending a request to persoonsgegevens@keune.com. The withdrawal of your consent does not render prior processing based on consent unlawful, but it requires the processing to be terminated and your data to be destroyed (after any retention period), unless there is another legal basis for processing your data.



5.How long will your data be retained by Keune?

Your application data will be retained by us for a period of 4 weeks after the end of the application process. If you have given consent for this, your data will be retained for a period of 1 year after the termination of the application process. This allows us, for example, to inform you about new job openings or invite you to recruitment activities. Once you join our company, your data will become part of your personnel file and will be processed in accordance with the privacy statement for our employees.



6.Will your data be shared with other companies?

Companies that assist us in finding new colleagues may, if necessary, have access to your data to perform activities on behalf of Keune. Keune requires these companies to process and protect your personal data carefully. We enter into agreements with these companies for this purpose.

Keune may also share your personal data with external parties to perform certain activities on behalf of Keune and to facilitate services they provide to us. These may include service providers such as assessment providers, website hosting, data analysis, payment processing, order fulfillment, information technology, and related infrastructure facilities such as the management of our recruitment database, customer service, email delivery, audits, and other services. Keune requires these external parties to process and protect your personal data carefully, and these parties only have access to the data they need to perform their tasks.



7.How are your data protected?

Keune will take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. Keune has implemented physical, administrative, organizational, and technical measures, taking into account the latest state of the art, to prevent unauthorized use.

During the processing of your personal data, they may be transferred to a third party located in a country without an adequate level of protection. In such cases, Keune will take additional measures to ensure that your personal data are sufficiently protected.



8.What rights do you have?

You have various rights concerning the processing of your personal data. You can (within the legal framework) request access, correction, supplementation, restriction, portability, and/or deletion of the data that Keune processes about you at any time. You also have the right to object to certain processing of your data. You can contact us via email at persoonsgegevens@keune.com to exercise these rights. Additionally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe there is a reason to do so.

10.Is this privacy statement ever changed?

This privacy statement may change if, for example, new developments or new legislation warrant it. The most current privacy statement can always be found on our website. We always indicate the date on which we published the latest version on our website. If you check this regularly and keep an eye on that date, you will always be aware of possible changes.
